The Boxer Rebellion Joint Crisis Committee: The Qing Court

Committees

About

As a member of the Imperial Court of the Great Qing Empire, you will be tasked with balancing domestic grievances, conservatives, reformist, and foreign influences. Faced with immediate pressures from the Eight Nations Alliance in the form of highly modernized militaries against your sword-wielding boxers, the glory of the Empire is dependent on how you choose to influence the court: will you choose to take this chance and force reforms? Or will you choose your own well-being over the nation? The fate of a 5000 year old civilization is in your hands.

Greetings patriots, I am Edward Ma and I am excited to be presiding over the Boxer Rebellion, Qing court committee. I am currently a senior majoring in accountancy and finance. I am fairly new to MUN, having only joined junior year in college. Having been to two conference, I've found myself to really enjoy MUN. This JCC is set during a highly tumultuous period in China so I do hope you guys have fun in this committee.
