Following the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria in June, 1914, Imperial Russia found itself at a crossroads. Sworn to protect Serbia amidst a looming Austrian invasion, they find themselves threatened by the early signs of a great war which they may not be ready for after decades of domestic and international turmoil and blunder. As the collection of the Russian Empire's more powerful officials, it is your task to ensure the survival of the Empire through its most trying times. In order to do so, you must prepare to compromise with the opposing interests of the Tsar, Russian Parliament, and various other discontents, as well as manage the flurry of problems that come with an Empire in its decline. Will you be able to keep the Empire together?
